3-3 trialist penalty

Trialist Daniel Bramhall, possibly released from Everton academy? From Sheffield, played for Chesterfield as a youth

Dan Wallis, released by Sheffield Wednesday academy. Tbf sounds like most of the goals were at fault of defenders in front of him.

I am sure Everton paid a fee for him too.

The 2nd half had 18/19 year old players in defence. It was most development squad players

They did, and then we was owed some more when he signed his first Pro deal with them but he’s now out of contract according to the five mins of reading I’ve just done.

That second half back line was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen.

It was shocking tbf but don't forget maguire was it who trod on the ball then passed it to the stavely player to score, enjoyable afternoon though and first visit there for me tidy setup as well

Maguire is more than included in that statement. Atrocious.
Yes definitely, enjoyable place to watch. The Chairman prioritises his paying public and not line his own pockets. Some owners could take note and do the same.

Two positives from todays game at Staveley. No10 Mandeville looks very sharp, quality movement on and off the ball, quality first touch, spin, turn and pass. Quality player and will bring something to the table this season. Also No 19 in the second half on the Left Wing. Fast, quick, very skilful and glides past defenders. He will be trouble for the opposition next season. I think he was a trialist... does anyone know who he was...? small blonde hair No19 on the left wing. Shezza needs to sign him up sharpish !!!!

PS: Lets not panic just yet !!! Matlock will be more of a pointer when I would expect Shezza to probably put out his best starting side for next season.

Staveley never had a shot in first half. Hollis was solid and looked after the back line. Good to see Wedgebury coming back although carrying a bit of meat, used the ball well. The black no.15 had a decent game at fullback ans would like to see him again. Raeson and Levi combined weell for 2nd goal.Manderville looks decent but boy am I glad we still have a decent players to call upon not therr today.

I’m in a panic if we rush to sign a player who showed up well against Staveley.

I’d also suggest you’ll be disappointed if you expect pointers against Matlock. That game normally provides a game for 20 or more, first teamers, fringe and trialists Hopefully it will be a lot stronger than today’s team though

Does anyone actually understand what a first pre season run out is all about?
Can’t understand all this ‘disgusting’ stuff.
He’ll have players not ready for a run, players he doesn’t think need to turn out at Staveley, players he wants to see how they fit into different positions for flexibility moving forward, players that just need leg time on the pitch.
It’s nothing more than a training session.

Thought Luke Rawson did well. Hopefully he'll get a chance to get some game time season coming. Apparently he's been linking up well with Boden in training.

According to the league website an attendance of 2,417 which would make it by far a record gate for Staveley although it didn't look like that many to me

Nor me but if that's right it's a cracking result for Staveley.

Never that many there today !!! unless it was the same attendance tracker used at the Proact last season counting all the "Non Showers" Maybe Staveley have 1000 Season Ticket holders
