We dropped 58 pts last season before Sheridan arrived.

We finished 30pts behind orient.

Can we be 30 pts better off by January 5th from last season (so dropping 28 points (losing 7 drawing 2)).

I can't see why not.

That’s the thing about logic, you can make it produce what you want. Remember the CFO at a former employer explains how profits would increase to drive share price to £20 by 2020 - sounded like we couldn’t fail with how he described it....even though the share price was then just over £5. It’s now mid 2019 and share price is nearly £9. I don’t think it will get to £20.

I dont believe we will retain the formwe got over 15 games for a whole season... but who knows. It sounds reasonable based on stats...

I don't like counting chickens. I know loads think we will be top but we could be left with egg on our faces through injuries and underestimating opposition etc etc.

I think any long term injuries will be replaced with good solid loan players. No need for a huge 1st team squad, just replace as/when required. That's about the only good thing about the national league - no transfer window.
Here we go again!

Be very disapointed if we are not at least in the top 3 this time.
Having said that,i don't think many teams will come close to us.

Depends when the Ebbsfleet home game is ...If Nathan Ashmore provokes our fans again... we could see a pt reduction and home ban playing in front of an empty stadium. I think the Spireites will have to sit on their hands that day. Otherwise Top 5 Finish hopefully.

10th if were lucky. If Boden gets injured 18th. Shocking recruitment over the summer in fact pathetic.

Good ol' Tim.

The bloke who'll always find the blackest cloud around the silverest lining.

Daft thing is he's been right far more often than the troll simply denying everything, though.

And without the insults, too.

But I'll go a little higher and say play offs.

Because as things stand I just can't see the quality to turn us into title challengers...

Your logic is reasonable, but the big change under JS was not conceding goals which meant we no longer lost games to average sides.

I don’t recall many wins against the top 7 under JS.

We still need more.
A new hope.

Half way through the season, and Tim seems to be the most accurate thus far!
