Don’t think we will set the division alight from game 1 , but consistently Sheridan will have us as the best team in the division.

We have history of the man with the cheque book changing his mind and cashing in, causing a good manager to walk. No reason why he won’t do the same again if more money is needed to finish the job, and everyone seems to be saying we need extra strength to go up....
If you set expectations low you might exceed them too - so my head could be less disappointed later...

Not feeling excited for new season? you could say that...
This made me feel a little bit sick, just because it sounds so plausible.

Poor recruitment and bad injuries have caused us no end of problems in recent seasons and should not be overlooked and although I am a big fan of John Sheridan, his success in recent seasons has been to go into struggling clubs and provide a short term fix, pulling teams away from the relegation zone. John's big season here was supported with the momentum of a new stadium and a reinvigorated fanbase, there is no such luxury this time around.
One thing is guaranteed, this season will not be the piece of p' that some predict.
