Expecting a half decent turn out to this one. If we get the Heatwave that we are expecting later on in July could be a full day job - shorts - t shirt a few beers and then to the game.

Always a good turn out. A very decent little club who deserve a full house as I know how much it does help them through the winter months.

To be honest can't remember last time this had less than a thousand there. However I think it's just one of a few games that make them a couple of Bob they usually play Derby Sheffield Blunts and M*nsfield all with fair gates

Last years was a bit of a non-event due to Allen playing the youth team. Wonder if we’ll see more of the first team this year? A fiver at Staveley to watch a scratch side is fine but Matlock is usually £10 or more
If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

The chance to see the first team should ensure a good travelling turn out

I think last year was an anomaly with someone (Cartman I think) deciding the fixture wasn’t worth it. The fact that it was played in the week before the start of the season ensured a weak team.

I hope and expect it to be the first run out for the majority of the squad as in previous years

Not been before as quite a journey for me but cricket in Queens Park and match make it worthwhile. Where is best parking for ground?

Street parking available anywhere in boythorpe and only 5/10 minutes walk. Walton Drive, Sycamore Avenue, central avenue, boythorpe avenue.

If you mean at Matlock there's plenty of parking on the adjacent cricket ground for a small fee. £3 last time I think.

Seeing as you mention cricket what a game that was, and I'm not a big fan. Amazing!
