You get two emails, one for the transaction and one containing the ticket as an attachment
That can end up in your junk mail according to some folk

But perhaps that's the problem.
Because we seem to see the same issue every week of every season - Chesterfield FC unable to get summat as simple as selling tickets straight.
Especially at a time it's so supposedly skint it's very soul's being sold.
And as always fans like 'charleyfarley' show tremendous tolerance.
Why should he have to phone the Club, though? Why should he have to go to that time, trouble and expense? Isn't there a bloke enjoying perks, privileges and payments to get this stuff right?
I'm sure the same old suspects will trot out the same old sanctimonious sneers (the mate who was on the brink of snubbing his decades held season ticket because of an IT brick wall tells me some on social media mocked his computer skills rather than blame CFC).
Well maybe they get the club they deserve.
However loyal supporters like our friend 'charley' deserve much better...

What is the percentage expected failure rate of ST's at the turnstyles for the first home game? I think Marcia quoted 10% last season. I said nobody had tested them beforehand and Coe apparently posted that I was talking rubbish. Should be the same this season then.

The print at home function is one of the few good things about the amatuerish ticket system.
It would be good to hear the outcome of the problem from him. It would be a shame to put people off using the function.

That used to be the case Marcia, I am still waiting for a reply to two emails sent to "fans@", one sent on the 27th June and the other on the 8th July. Steve Coe must be on holiday!

I agree , the club should do all in their power to make it easy to buy tickets. You shouldn't have to do a hybrid ring/email/online request.
The club has had years to sort this out.

I think the buy online, print at home is about as easy as they can get. Yes there appears to have been an issue here but i've never had an issue with it other than, as mentioned, my email client deciding it was spam which isnt the clubs fault really. Whenever i've done it the process has been easy and quick.

DCCC send me regular updates and offers (as do other counties I've bought tickets from) - do Town do that? They used to 'cos a mate who held an event at the stadium received them, but that stopped when Gary Cook left. Surely it's just what any modern business should do.
Anyway, when tickets became available I simply went to their site, bought 'em, then got 'em through the post a couple of days later.
Pretty straightforward stuff so why can't CFC do the same?

Congratulations on your promotion to the Churl of Esterfield.
I have to say I've never had a moments bother either buying online and printing, or ringing up and getting them sent. Easiest thing in the world.
