Have tried and tried but apart from a misguided sense of pride, I don’t see anything wrong with this

I wonder if Staveley supporters are up in arms about our kids playing there?

It’s certain to be financially attractive and there may be the chance of a player or two

It's financially attractive to put your missus on the game too.

We’ve had much bigger problems but We wouldn’t have to offer our pitch to them if we weren’t such a joke of a club and had people at the helm to properly manage our finances. It’s just cringeworthy imo.

I'm surprised there's not been an announcement to say that this massive extra revenue stream was agreed as compensation for the David Brooks fiasco, but we couldn't say anything until they reached the premier league.

I thought it might be more of a thank you for taking Ched.

So it’s just pride then?

I would have no problem with that really, it just says we have such great facilities that Premier League clubs want to use them

Couldnt really care to be honest....not really going to affect me, not like i'll be going to watch or anything like that. If it makes us a few quid that can go towards getting us back in the league then so be it.

Worse scenario could be Mansfield playing here in the fa cup given our relative strengths at the moment!

not pride nor anything like that but any associated police bill I'd certainly hope wasn't paid by us - wouldn't be much of a crowd for that anyhow I wouldn't have thought

Only way we’ll know if this was even remotely worthwhile is if we find out the exact amount of money changing hands for them to use our pitch.

Yes it would be interesting to know how much .
Won’t hurt to guess, I’d say £16500- 11 games at £1500 less losses on the gates and concourses.

Think they play home games and they have to be at the clubs main stadium.

We have to be reasonable as I think they will only get about £100m for being in the PL

At least if we are interested in signing any of them we can get their club officials to bring over some official paperwork to sign instead of the AC line.....'well they said we could have him on loan'.
If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything!
