Are the "pay on the day" gate admission prices going up also in relativity to the ST's. If not then the delta variance between STs and turning up the day is getting smaller and therefore the very reason to buy a ST in the first place becomes less and less an incentive.

It’s gone up £2 a game so that’s a £46 increase paying on the day,
My season ticket price from last years early bird has a £56 increase

You also have to factor in that most season ticket holders will miss some games due to holidays, work commitments etc. which makes buying one even less attractive.....not to mention going to watch us play teams like Dover or Eastleigh on a freezing and rainy November night hardly setting the pulse racing!

I have also cancelled my blues on the move as I had that to get a further 5% off. So there is no way they will get the same amount of money out of me this season no matter how well we play and if we are as bad as we have been for the past 4 years it will be considerably less. Putting up the prices will only add to the reasons people don't renew, it was a stupid, stupid high risk strategy which I believe will bite them on the ass financially but came as no surprise given the level of incompetence demonstrated in the annual accounts!

Before we have the final count up of how many STs we've sold compared to last season does anybody know how many over 80s STs at NIL pounds were included in last year's total? In fact, is it possible that a fair percentage of the match "stay aways" were from this over 80s group? For this group alone the sale of just one ST is a financial success over last season's ST income from the over 80s whilst possibly opening up some better placed seats for other match goers.

194 from memory, although 134 rings a bell too, the figure I was told was certainly in the 100's

Lets hope CFC don't get any ideas from the BBC (ref: the TV licences) regards free ST's for the over 80's.

Interesting assumption on the over 80’s free Season Tickets, my Father who is now 93 had one and didn’t get to one game due to ill health, I think it fair to assume that most of this age group do not attend games on their own and will be accompanied by at least one paying adult?
In my case, I only managed to attend about 10 games last season, not really an economic purchase of a ST but one made none the less.

Next season my Dad won’t be renewing, because he can’t get anymore. Consequently I won’t be renewing as it’s just not economic to do so, so a financial loss to the club for my part.

I wonder how many others from the same group will be the same.

Also most ST’s are not bought by completely new attendees they tend to be by people who think it more economic to do so than game by game or just want to be in the same place week in week out without the hassle of buying match by match.

I’m not convinced that scrapping the over 80’s concession of a free ticket will generate a positive effect at all on the balance sheet, and if it does, in my view it will be almost negligible.
SUPER JACK LESTER!

$8 a pint (or 16oz in their lingo).
$12 bacardi and coke.
Gas generally cheaper.
Suck it and see, pass.

Oh! and allow 90 minutes to get through passport control, maybe more in your case!

I’m assuming today’s redundancies are due to the poor ST sales?

We've just had 3 consecutive god awful seasons. The club ought to realise that to refresh the disillusioned and sell STs they need to make some signings that say "hey look, we really intend going places". The fact Shez kept us up last season playing some pretty average football will not whet lots of appetites for next season imo

I heard a girl in the club shop say something about getting sacked and having to look for another job.
