Anybody Any Idea On How Many St's Sold So Far

South Stand Available
S1 195
S2 157
S3 141
S4 149
S5 220
Total Seats available in South Stand 862
Capacity Approx 2000
Approx STs sold for South Stand 1138
If we apply this to the rest of the sides of the ground ( obviously factoring in the North Stand and E1 and E2 as non ST,s) we may be able to get an approx figure - with the caveat that the information of seats available on the website is current and correct.

Seats will be unavailable because they are reserved for existing season tickets holders who may or may not have renewed

Thanks for that info. Was it an official announcement? If so I assume fact we havent yet had one this year means we havent sold that many... Of course that it could just be that the club are working on players deals this year and not PR stunts for the fans!

No mate. The totally unjustified price rise was the final straw for me!

It's only a rise if you don't buy the early bird?
Also as much as I agree that they shouldn't have put it up, with the club losing money without DA you've got to make up the difference somehow.
It's a shame they can't say "if we sell 2000 STs the price is X, if we sell 3000 it'll be less etc"

The club has got to overcome peoples' view that Allen did nothing to stop losses caused by massive incompetence (and worse) by his employees in the past. So yes, the price rise is unjustified.
What he needs to do is right off a proportion of the debt by an amount that people can equate with the unnecessary losses. Psychologically, fans would then probably back him again. Two million would be a good opening gambit.

If the six million asking price quoted by both GB and Carson is accurate he's already done that, Dave.
And if he really did care what the fans think the bloke ultimately responsible for the drip, drip, drip of half-assed happenings would be long gone too.
As always the bottom line is very simple - if Town win enough games folk'll turn out. If not, they won't.

Heyup
£6m didn't entice anybody though.
The cycle you describe needs kick starting.
