Don't talk about that year, that's when we went down.

I think that’s why he mentioned it.

Obvious issues weren’t addressed in close season, a couple of unfortunate injuries and 40 players later we were relegated

But we did win a 🏆

What's happened to all the positivity earlier about us being in the top 3 or champions ?

Maybe a realisation that we have an ageing and slow defence, no pace and only one decent striker.

Don't worry I think Shez will sort it.

Don't get that logic. After Sheridan got them organised, there was no better defence in the league, and that was including various makeshift left backs. Don't know about Gerrard, but the two CH's are not intrinsically slow, they have other problems which gave that impression such as extremely poor positional sense, and dithering. Evans in particular worked on and overcame his faults. Throw in our accomplished goalie and there's nowt wrong with the defence.

I think we have learnt by now that pace is only good if utilised properly.
We had one of the fastest ever junior sprinters- Alex Kiwomya- 10.98 personal best for 100m! (no footballer will get close to that) - although he isn't as quick as he was at 16 he should have still torn defences apart

For once we agree (I'm sitting down) totally underused after JSs arrival he looked class at Solihull, but after being asked to play the target man role v Brackley he never really got a chance, although looked very good when coming on at Barnet. The only conclusion I can draw is someat went on behind the scenes.

I'd like to see him back

He did okay at Maidenhead too, quick and lively. I think he had a goal questionably chalked off there? I agree that he would be worth a chance if wages aren't a stumbling block.
These go to eleven.

Unfortunately, like Carter, Kywomya never did much under Shez last season. When MA brought him in he spent too much time in the treatment room, had a short purple patch, and that was about it.

In a small squad players need to be available on a regular basis. Doncaster have him on their transfer list for a reason although things could change now they have a new manager.

We lost two thirds of our potent strike force that pre-season and failed to improve on what had been a leaky defence (which we'd managed to overcome by scoring so many in the league below).

His best game was at Solihull.

Didn't kiwomya have hamstring problems for a lot of his time at the club? I'd certainly be happy if he came back, he showed more than enough to suggest he could make it in the football league if we get promotion.

Get him in, strengthen his hamstrings we'll have a decent player.

Can we send a memo to Shez to bring Kiwomya back ?
