Has anyone else seen Inside Out - North West from yesterday on BBC? How to run a club as part of the community.

I know several on here already follow their chairman, but Andy Holt is great value on twitter. Very open, honest and frank with his views on football. Probably one of the good guys in football.

Aye... and on 8 July a friendly against Eire's finest - Sligo Rovers. Probably because Coleman used to manage them and oversaw a first round away victory at Rosenborg. Also, Doyle used to play for Sligo. With his ROI connection, has JS considered any players from the LOI?

I heard that Marseille had approached Chesterfield to play on 11th July but we had to decline as the pitch wouldn’t be ready in time

The grass in the north west must grow quicker.

Accrington's pitch as of 10/06/19.

Accrington are playing the game at Salford (the Rugby Stadium) for that reason

It all depends on how much Boron has been added to stimulate the Gibberlins in the seed and the quality of any pre germinated seed

Accy has never had any grass and must be the worst pitch in the EFL (the same can't be said of their Team, they've worked wonders).

Cook managed Sligo and Accrington, too.
These go to eleven.

Only a handful of people to see it which was a shame (including Moondog).

Yes I went for the novelty value, always fancied visiting the stadium after seeing it numerous times from the flyover but not for Rugby League!.I was joined by four other Spireites including Clarevoyant. Marseille made 10 changes at half time appearing from my limited knowledge, with the exception of Payet who played the first half, to put the first team out for the 2nd half which they fairly won one nil. My estimate of the crowd was about 650 all in one stand, about 30 Marseille fans. Low crowd not helped by 6pm scheduled kick off although that was put back 15 mins. which gave us my time in the pub. Interesting that the game appeared to being broadcast live on what I assume is Marseille TV, one camera was trained on the bench and manager Villas Boas nearly all game. Met Oliver Norwood's (Blades player) Uncle on the bus back into the city centre, Accrington fan, his nephew does a lot of work for charity apparently

Crowd nearly twice as much as I guessed 1,266 according to the BBC, hard to tell when sat in same stand.

Forgot to mention Pele was in the nets for Marseille
