Tie that in with the gates, minus the away following and that seems to be a remarkably high number of pay on the day customers
Did I read somewhere that next season we were budgeting for 3800, if so an increase in sales? Or are the figures stated low to show that the new sales won't be a massive drop....
I've just given myself a migraine!

I am sure I am not alone , am I ?
I go to all the home matches I can around work , have done for many years but only had a season ticket once at saltergate but was out of pocket because of the games I missed when working .
There must be a fair number of non season ticket holders like me who go regularly ?

I've not had a season ticket since the first season in the new ground but pay on the gate 10/12 times a season, until this season were I've barely bothered

Nail on Head.
Not a cat in hell's chance roughly 2000 people buy in advance and on the day.
Remarkable how every number is rounded nicely as well, 1900, 700,etc etc

I wouldn't be surprised if this seasons figures are that far out. What I wouldn't be surprised about is that he has lied about the minimal drop from previous years.
At most Saturday home games this year, support hovered around 5000 allegedly. So that is 1500 pay on the day at the most, less when all the freebees have been handed out.
I reckon anyone could check this figured if they really care by counting the sold seats on the ticket page for a game well in advance. Remember to discount the large blocks thar are obviously reserved for whatever.

I don't think the exact figures were ever disclosed
Just vague sugeestions by Turner of a year upon year rise until 4500 became the accepted figure. This of course would boost the esteem we all held him in. Once Carson took over operational control and the off/on field chaos became apparent, he probably wouldn't like to admit to any drop.

Yet more rubbish? Page 3 of this thread seems to suggest we sold nearly a 1000 more 2 years ago!

In response to a question about season ticket sales, CT said that sales have been very good and “well up on last year”. He added: “The finance deal has helped. We’re currently at 4,400 and I’d like to get to nearly 5,000

And only a numpty would say season ticket sales have been consistent for the last 4 years when a simple net search shows that's ollocks. I just get the impression the figures quoted in the opening post are deliberately low so any drop can be smoothed over.
