My interpretation: the whole thing's just a shameless attempt to make what he knows will be a huge smack in the gob on ST's look less significant.

Then tries to blame his erstwhile mate Turner when he's once again caught out.

Good to remind ourselves what the then CEO and CFCFDS Director said only two short years ago, though: 'CT confirmed that the club will be in the black this season' then 'when asked about the development centre, CT said that it is running at great profit, which will “reduce the costs of the academy”. He added that a deal has been set up with Gordon Hill, offering scholarships in the USA. A major sponsorship deal with the development centre will be announced soon"'?

The IT quote was interesting, too: 'one area where spending has been cut is with regard to IT. “We are now spending about £70,000 a year on IT and when I came in we were spending £250,000"'. But hold on a minute - isn't that exactly what was said when 'SBK' took the gig a few months ago? Hmmm...

The next interesting farce will occur when Ashley is forced to explain that Turner was talking rubbish when he said we would get £200k when Portsmouth get promoted.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

How NOT to sell season tickets in 4 easy steps.

1. create a mess off the field fuelled with uncertainty about where finances are actually going,
2. sell or LOAN out all your best players and replace them with much inferior ones
3. sack a struggling manager and replace him with a clueless one who plays people out of position, drops his better players and much needed senior pros, persists with a "style" of football no one understands or can play, oh ye and tells fans to stay away if they're not happy get spanked at home every week.
4. keep the prices of season tickets at a premium price for lower league football.

Well according to the chair at the AGM we have a large electricity and gas bill! Surely current, and previous, board members should query the off field costs?

Do we need hot water in the loos??

Even more concerning given his relatively short, new career in football management.

There's far too much speculation on this board regarding the money and where it's gone. Anyone would think we're not a professional club and that someone in charge was spouting constant white noise, whilst going through the books, over and over again, to check they've not left any evidence that might suggest anything other than meticulous, above-board book keeping, rather than spend a few months in bed with Big Sandra (Darren Brown's former lover on D Block).

By the time everyone has taken their cut the club will left with a £1
