If I renew this season , it will be only because I like my seat

The seat is more important than the entertainment value and/ or way the club is run?

There was a major issue with my seat earlier this season.

It was facing the pitch.

Some people will renew for various reasons, some people wont for various reasons, let's not turn this into a slanging match of those who renew to those that don't. It's an individual choice and either to renew or not doesn't make anyone more, or less of a fan.

I asked a simple enough question. Don't twist it.

It was a statement of my view rather than an answer to your question.

Ok. I'd be interested to know if prawn ' s main reason for renewing ST would (seriously) be because of his seat.

Shouldn't this thread be kept to the subject matter regarding BIDS?

If we want a "shall" or "shall not" renew argument regarding season tickets let's give it it's own thread.

This is one of my main concerns with this board - it loves to go off on a tangent whenever possible.

TBH, I factor in where my seat is too when renewing.
Mine is near half way line and up at the back of the stands.
I've got a great position to observe the match and keep dry when it chucks it down/sprinklers on.
Thing is, IF we doing well in L2 next season, and I don't renew, my seat would be snapped up and I'd be scratching around for another seat on par with what I had.

The seat is a nice plastic one ,blue like the others.

Thought i would resist a sarcastic reply ..................

Basically I have a good view amongst friends, and enjoy the luxury of not buying tickets on the day in a different part of the ground. .

I have seen various levels of entertainment over the years, this sesson is non exsistent and not enjoying the way the club is run if that answers you

There will be plenty of decent seats available. If we were doing well you could get them on a half ST.

We will do Mansfield Grimsby Lincoln Notts county Coventry and maybe a few others so not a lot of hassle arranging tickets. Morecambe Accrington etc are off the radar. If we do well we'll go for the half ST but it's unlikely without a change in ownership as the club is otherwise going to continue its downward spiral imo.

I can see them queuing for your seat already, they might even have a reserve list.

I like where I sit, apart from a fat bell end waffling BS most of the game behind me.
As for the half season ticket, I dare say if I didn't renew, I'd go to the game anyway and end up costing me more in the long run!

If my seat became available and say a ST holder renewing on the front row (rain, sprinklers and risk of football in head) of the stand is wanting a better spot for the same price.......go figure.
You queuing jibe is obviously trying to make a funny, but reality would be my seat would be snapped up and not left empty

I agree that its very unlikely there will be a massive demand for tickets next season, however like Danblue I have no doubt some one would love my seat.

What they would not love is the running commentary and player first name love/hate shouts that spout forth from a small number of the padded seat brigade or their on a freemans guests.
