Why not. it is probably pleasant distraction and about the only thing to get enthusiastic about.

However, it disappointing that it is interfering with my Saturday afternoon

You mean something along the lines of, "My family have been beheaded and buried alive, my home has been destroyed, I am homeless and penniless but hey, I see Iraq have won 1-0. That's given me a bit of a lift." Are you serious? Sorry I just don't get it.

So all life (including any entertainment) should drain out a country.

When watch the news and see places like Iraq and Gaza trying to get back to normal life as soon as the bombing stops fills me with admiration

Do we get compensation for reduced income due to the rearranged game likely to be mid week thus reduced attendance?

What really annoys me is that Swindon have been doing everything they can to get the games called off - I mean, it's one thing if a player gets called up but it looks like Swindon have been ringing up the Iraqi FA begging for them to call him up. They must be really scared of us!

As an exile I have to plan my visits in advance - can anyone advise the actual deadline beyond which Swindon cannot apply for a postponement ?

Not happy if it is called off as I had to pick Swindon or Scunthorpe to miss to attend something else and I picked missing Scunthorpe.
