We sold Liam Cooper to a bigger club in a higher division, for a fee which all parties agreed upon, a move which allowed us to pay off debt whilst improving our squad as a whole. Therefore our fans recognised the bigger picture, understood that the talented youngster wished to better himself, so thanked him for his contribution and wished him all the very best in the future.

Our little neighbours sold Sam Clucas to a bigger club in a higher division, for a fee which all parties agreed upon, a move which allowed them to pay off debt whilst (supposedly) improving their squad as a whole. So why can't Staglets see the bigger picture? Why can't they accept that a talented youngster wished to better himself? Why can't they thank him for his contribution and wish him well?

All I can suggest is their petty and laughable sneers are the product of an inferiority complex born of decades spent looking up at us.

Anyone under the age of 25 will have spent thier entire life as a fan of the yellow stain staring enviously upwards.

Remember Luke bleating about his "ban" and saying that stagsnet would be far more tolerent of any spireites and unless abusive no one would be banned??

I`ve been banned on there after less than 100 posts - no bad language, no abuse etc - just "banter" over Clucas and debts. "blatant trolling" given as the reason.
Thats nothing I was banned after my first post. All I said was that their manager would never be sacked because the CEO likes her Cox. They have no sense of humour

Lukes site is fair game though, still going on there.

I may be going over old ground here, but weren't Forest supposed to be interested in Clucas last season? If so, I will be very surprised if he is as cack as our embittered Yellow chum is making out.

The bottom line here is that Clucas is a decent player for L2 level, indeed there were many stags fans thinking that he would go to Forest at the end of last season for £250,000 and were openly praising the lad as the next big thing. Now either due to injury, Cox style of play or player/fan apathy the love affair has gone off the rails, although it briefly resurfaced when it appeared Sam rejected a move here prior to deadline day stating a willingness to sign a new contract at Mansfield, of course this was a completely unfounded rumour, and thus they are now slating the lad and claiming that they're laughing all the way to the bank. Of course that is complete horse muck. Now ultimately the move may not work out , but to get a player of Sams obvious potential for around 100k max, is for me at least, a very exciting prospect. In fact the one or two decent Stags fans I know openly admit the best thing for him was to get away from Field Mill given the current managers ethos. Good luck to the lad.
And of course if it doesn't happen for him here at least the chimes of "Sammy Clucas is a Spireite, is a Spireite" will give me a very, very broad grin at 2.50 tommorrow when his name is announced.

He wasn't our best player, he has been very poor

of course he was...that's why your scabsnet message board, you know, the one that your so proud is open to debate and doesn't ban anyone, unlike the ultra strict intolerant bobs board, was on about interest from forest and a £250k+fee!!!!

Your town centre is plop, your club is plop, your clubs finances are plop, your 3 sided ground is plop, your team is plop, your style of football is plop, and your message board is full of big girls blouses who wont/cant tolerate any criticism of the club through fear, despite its claim to be independent - so even your message board is plop. Luke's rival message board is inhabited by retarded plop heads.

Is there anything with your corner of North Notts that isn't plop?

and the very best you can come back with is criticism of one of the United Kingdoms most iconic landmarks, and the largest and most decorative church, that is not a cathedral in the east midlands is a mistake............... and even then,. you wont/cant say what the mistake is.(Europe has hundreds of twisted spires BTW)

Christ, you make Luke look some of Mensa "pass"

A new hope.

How good is the Peak interview with Clucas, pre Preston.

'Good to have the ball come to feet, rather than looking in the air for it'. 'Playing football how it should be played, like how I was taught.' Great reception when I came off, my parents were in the crowd and they said they had tears in their eyes'
