similar to the reaction on here when cooper departed so I wouldn't read much into that

air of realism in this part of the north midlands it seems

You have to accept that people will move on to bigger clubs with more fans and better stadiums.

According to his record, it will take him approx. 2 seasons to score that amount, if lucky.
Can't believe we are in for yet another midfielder!

Given that their midfielders probably spend 95% of the match with the ball going over the top of their head I dont think its a bad return.

Surely a move to a bigger club in a nicer area and higher league that play an attractive brand of football can only be beneficial to the lad, Cooky must see something in the lad to believe he can play at this level and I certainly trust his judgement so far!

Wonder if PC has told DA he plans to spend some of the Cooper cash on a transfer fee?

Im going stat mad today but i wonder what roberts stats are for areas of the pitch he scores from left side centre and right,if it favours the centre he may be moved inside alloeing a player like clucas with fresher legs too play wider.

I don't think pc likes him on the left as he is nearly as bad as morgan when it comes to helping out the left back

Thats partly why we line up like we do in the 4-2-3-1. Ryan and Morsy are deeper to provide protection allowing the likes of Roberts and the 2 in that advanced three more licence to attack.

So do I. Opportunism is the word. Sam is 24 in September and I think in the last year of his contract. He's not in the team. Them at Feel Ill are on a hiding to nowt. He fits the criteria in that he's well capable of stepping up a level when he works on his diet, stamina, strength, bravery etc etc.

It's possible that the combination of his wage demands and a tantalising transfer fee may well come to no more than Cooper's wages - summat like £50k and a sell on + £1.5k a week + incentives = Cooper's wages at £2.5k a week.

Lucky we've got all the backroom staff to work on those areas :)

@SkySportsPeteO: Chesterfield have made a bid for highly-rated Mansfield Town midfielder Sam Clucas. #cfc #mtfc #stags

Not getting in stags first eleven at minute. Dropped so they could include fatty Reid

He's on more than that at mansfield and they recently turned down a bigger bid than that from a Scottish club

200-250k for a player that can't get into the Mansfield starting 11 so a fat Rhead can get in makes me feel ill. Why oh why. We don't need him. We wouldn't bring in Higdon but we are prepared to pay silly money for him? Stupid. If this is with the Cooper money i don't know what to think. I hope we don't sign him and move onto players that we need like covers for CB's and a striker. JOKE
