Sue Roberts is DA's Daughter.

Wiki is incorrect. He currently holds no shares in CFC

Ashley

This may seem picky, but could you have a word with whoever runs the concourse with regards to Sky Sports on the TV - There is Spireites Player on one-side & Sky on the other.......Now, i don't know about other people, but having Sky Sports on both sides at half time would improve the flow of people getting refreshments & going to the toilet.
Everyone congregates in one area viewing the one side of the TV & turns into a bottle neck.

I know this is a bit picky, but is annoying!!

The whole issue of club ownership in England is a secretive murky disgrace. Fans have no clue as to who really owns their club and what the specific financial arrangements are. My club was lucky not to go under. Unless the FA/PL/FL get a grip, traditional famous name clubs are going to to be liquidated.

you dont have to tell us that - the fit and proper test (such as it is) was introduced after a fraudster gained ownership of CFC over a decade ago
A new hope.

Such as it was....such as it is. The UK football ownership model is not fit for purpose. (PS I have lived in Chesterfield for 20 years so I know all about Darren Brown.)

Why doesn't the official site show ownership of the full 100% of shares?

A pity he's not on here much any more as Mr Basson has a lot of interesting things to say.

I gather there is now good reason to consider 1863 as our date of origin. A report in January 1864 for a game played around Christmas of 1863. does anyone have any info on this.

thats down to Stu Basson in his role as club historian. He was, at one point, insisting the club was formed in 1919 and it was made official for a while on the clubs history page - until some protests on here. He then changed it to 1867 and has hardly been seen on here since.

Half a century is quite a difference!

Depending on what base is used. Could there be an argument for the date of 2001 to be our starting point.

We only have to show those with 10% or more of the shares. If we listed all shareholders the list would be about 1230 people!

We only have to disclose the "Major Shareholders". There are over 1,200 Shareholders. Many only holding 200 Shares.

Fair Point. Each Tv has it's own IP Address and as such each Tv is capable of showing different programmes / adverts. I will raise this and get it changed

p.s I hope this does not set any more hares running in the Stadium !!!

Yes.

Derbyshire Times got the report, Attendance and score wrong (Nothing Changes)
We needed a 20 goal a year striker
He needed to be 6ft 5" Plus
CFC had to tell everybody who they were interested in
CFC lacked ambition
All new signings were spotted in The Royal Oak on the Shambles rather than Ye Olde Tescos
RPL was moaning back then
Rovrum & Mansfailed were not around

Would he like some?

Tell him they're £1,000,000 each and he can buy as many as he wants
