Ahhh, but think how much more heavily they might have been defeated had they not appointed him.
I'm glad he's putting all that learning into effect that he gained by having been so badly treated at CFC.

The tone and the very words themselves will ring in your head. You'll be thinking you've heard the exact same thing before. Can you actually plagiarise yourself?

For Caldwell's football vision to work he needs to find a club already at rock bottom to build, not ones that are on a rapid decline, he won't get time. For him, us and Partick are the wrong club at the wrong time.

I really hope we have hit rock-bottom, but I still wouldn't want Mr personality back.

His vision would only work in a minor league where opposition is mediocre, and he has the backing others can only dream of. A league that isn’t competitive, where he has good players he doesn’t have to coach, day to day to get the message across, and isn’t fiercely competitive.
Somewhere like L.A. Galaxy in Major League Soccer.

Hence his words after:
‘It was an outstanding performance away from home, a high pressure game, the bravery in possession, the control of the goal, the understanding of how we wanted to play, a fantastic performance.‘

Could we write our Gary’s post match script?
‘We passed well today, don’t think we deserves to lose. No,I don’t think it was a mistake to put them through their paces last weekend with 4th paras. These players just need some confidence.’
Alternatively see Martin Allen’s book of post match quotes.

Feel sympathy for them, anyone who doesn't support the Old Firm are ok by me.
They should have listened to us and we should have listened Wigan fans before we gave him the benifit of doubt.

Football fans are a genuine and discerning breed, rivalry and posturing somewhat goes out of the window when we feel something needs to be said. Hence the warnings from Sheffield Wednesday fans re the current regime.

Caldwell: The fact we are now bottom is a challenge for everyday at the club. Our fans can be assured we will all be working hard to get the club back up the table as quickly as we can - but it will take a lot of hard work."
