I was actually going this afternoon for tickets, but of course none left..looking at the away totals we've taken this season I can't help feel Walsall are pulling a fast one here. I feel a complaint from the club to both Walsall and the FL is in order!

Ring them, pay in advance at the lower price and collect them on Saturday. If they don't allow that it's not on.

Well because I had credit card which is not acceptable after 1pm decided to go for my Walsall ticket after the Oldham game. Guess what? Ticket office closed. Went to the desk in the foyer to buy one but told "Sorry the ticket office is closed. You'll have to come down during the week."

Just wondered if, 'coming down during the week' applies to those Town fans who live over fifty miles from the ground. There were plenty of staff hanging round and I really though I would have been served, but no.

No great effort is required keep the ticket office open for 30 minutes after home games. Chesterfield has a business model that has customers who live in all parts of the country not just the Town.

I don't understand the low number either. What is the point of sending any? Are they obliged to? Is it part of a master plan/scam/stunt?

cant see that they will have done anything wrong if the face value is stated. There cant be a rule to stop a club sending tickets at reduced price whether it be 400 0r 4000. Clearly they are not charging more just sent us some at discount. We put prices up for so called "A" games.

The only advantage I can see is to encourage people to buy up front so that they know how many stewards thy need and reduce pressure on the ticket office on match day

from selling 400 up front they still don't know whether they'll be 600, 800, 1000,1200.......

Seems a bit odd, they've just lost £800 for no gain

they haven't lost anything we pay the original ticket price but if you pay on the day its an extra 2 quid you don't go to many away games do you lots of clubs do this now its just a way of getting extra cash out of away fans

Using your own words; it sounds like their losing money to me by sending us tickets.

Why not let everyone pay on the day, £2 extra and to admin charge

We were told the same thing when we played at Port Vale.But still got the same discount paying on the day.

Cant believe the club (ticket office) didn't request more tickets for Walsall given the away followings so far this season. Bristol took over 1800 the other week to Walsall.

Plenty of PR from the media team along with another full week of sales would have surely seen another 200-300 buying in advance?

CFC should be encouraging the fans to travel and support the team.

The ticket office should surely be open on a match day before and after to encourage sales especially for the exiles who cant get in the week.
(I know fans can buy online, but some people prefer to do it in person).

I thought we were moving away from the Saltergate era and getting into the modern culture and a more customer based era??!!

Just look at the numbers that have travelled away so far, they've been superb so far.

Is it too much trouble for them to request another 150 - 200+, just send any unsold back as they normally do on the team coach.
