I've no problem with Donny.

They should all sit in one stand though, especially when it gets cold.

makes no sense lot of bluff about them bringing more in the return fixture but on the League 1 forum one of their fans saying they'll struggle to take more than 1200 to scunny and will only bring about that (half of our support) to the return fixture

God, how pathetic when opposition fans say things like that... hmmmm yeah right!

I love it when the support is like that, great following...you should imagine we would take that level of support to Scunny, County, Barnsley & Utd (actually a lot more if we are fighting at the top on the last match of the season)

I quite like their stadium, but i do think the design doesn't carry sound well!?

To be fair, the twenty or so sixteen year olds in their 'west stand massive' or whatever they were called are never going to make enough noise for it to carry that far.

it shows the acoustics of a ground makes a difference our fans seem to think they were loud But Donny fans think it was quiet. At the Proact 50 away fans can appear to make some noise.

What utter bo**ocks.

Although I did find it amusing when they thought that we started going home when they scored their second. Protest? Yeah, a protest.

Doncaster Rovers are a small club who were punching well above their weight but now seem to have found their level.Lets see how many they bring here in the return fixture it won't be anywhere near 2500,

Interesting thread on there titled 'Edgar Davids'

Full of praise for Johnson and deservedly so. Comparing him to Villa's current crop, he's a player in a very similar mould to Fabian Delph. If he carries on showing the intelligence and great technical ability he's got he'll be one hell of a player for the future < Definitely the player we all hoped Mark Randall was going to be

Sat in the home end just the other side of the dugouts and 'Sailing' sounded loud enough as did 'Your ground's too big for you'

Sitting with the opposition fans, what I found entertaining was the paranoia that there was a conspiracy amongst officials to undermine them. Guess that is a common view most places.

There was a small clump of thick Donny fans to my right that typified the Yorkshire steryotype that I found rather amusing. All in all they are a decent lot though

Nephews partner supports them, she'll have to reciprocate in the return leg

We were also the highest away attendance outside of the Premier League this weekend, and 7th overall

Anyone got the home attendances to hand as well? I'd be interested to see a league table of the ratios, ie what proportion of your home support goes to away games. With the home support of some of these clubs you'd expect big away crowds, but proportionally maybe not so. We must be well up there on that measure.

You can make too of the percentage taken away thing. In some cases it's 'cos home crowds are dire rather than the other way around.
