Disappointing result in the end, but what tremendous support! Goes to show what happens when you don't win at home. Donny fans pathetic and embarrassing for such a top stadium. We were loud and proud. Once the defence is settled again we'll be winning more than we lose or draw. Two great away trips this week and brilliant entertainment. Proud of them all and our awesome fans!!!!

Yes I know! And I missed the bridge bus by 15mins due to work commitments. And that did hurt a bit.

I too thought Doncaster fans were poor today. I was expecting more home fans considering it was a derby game. Interesting that one Doncaster fan on BBC Sheffield said town fans were better that Sheffield United's! Let's hope we get a good turn out next week against Notts County...they should bring quite a lot of fans...should be a good atmosphere!

Why the ridiculous comment about being 12? Taking 2500 fans to any game is a superb effort. The comments relate to commitment, not vocal support as you seem to imply.

The thing I noticed yesdi was that there seemed to be two banks of singers/chanters, west side and center. Created a real wave of noise and carried on the chants longer. Still buzzin about the support the lads got.
To have four or five verses of 'Sailing' sung by 2500 Spireites was truly magnificent!!

I personally don't think their fans were as loud as ours when we are at home. The fact that they average roughly the same following as town in a bigger stadium, having recently played Championship football is somewhat disappointing. I'd expect more town supporters to turn up next week v County. If not, DA will be disappointed!
