Why is funding not in place for the short fall?

So are you looking for 2000 random posts with little substance or something to trigger a long debate?

i think the title and its proximity to the wording in the title of another thread is probably the clue, that and lots of dots and refereneces to not being ready by the start of the season....

This thread shows a lack of professionalism and ambition....it will never work unless we all repeat ourselves at least four times during the thread....that is to say, we need say the same words time and time and again, though not necessarily in the exact same order...

The Checkout guy told me that you wanted white bread, but couldn't afford the extra 20p on a budget..

What does this say about your knowledge of the bread market?

And he didnt tell us that he was looking to buy wholemeal and not white bread, wholemeal might be good but is it what this club wants and does it show the right ambition?

and why were we not consulted as fans on the proposed strategy? someone ask geoff to ask the question....?

B****Y hell, i've just discovered that I am getting bored writing this stuff, its nearly as bad as reading it....

    Partial to the odd beerd!!

The thing is......although we are looking to bring in the bread, we have a bread maker at the club already......The Dave Bentley home made baker I think it's called.......our fans though seem to prefer shop bought bread or cobs.....and heap too much pressure on Dave's home baked ones at such a young age when the yeast has barely risen.......This often results in the bread going stale and our supporters booing the bread. Shameful behaviour....... Let's get behind our home made loafs and see if they can rise to the challenge.
Mug?? Being wrong never gets boring!

Can we afford to bring in a continental contingent?
Lets develop the home grown products first. Though a short-term deal might be good. It may at least bring in the stay away fans.

we dont want to start trying things that we are not comfortanble with, look what happens when we go 4 5 1, we have to stick to what we know....but get in good ingredients to deliver....especially the bread, spend what it takes....you are only as good a syour bread and using wholemeal is not ambitious....we need granary or seeded batch, best from Morrisons. The agent on the bakery doesnt ask for a top up fee but he would be worth it....
