Great first half from Rochdale, and arguably a deserved lead, too.

Just shows what a well run, smaller club can achive.

Also, anyone know the family link between one of the players playing todayand some of our recent successes?

I've give you 'til FT.

It is amazing that they've held on to Henderson.

I thought is was impossible at our level (sorry the one above)

Nice to see England internationals getting up to world standard on diving. Couldn't wait to throw himself to ground as soon as he felt a bit of contact.
If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything!

Trouble is Ali keeps diving and his manager says it is okay to do it

Justice in the end though

Edit

Surprise Surprise Jenas said it was a penalty in the tv studio

Anyway, the family link, if anyone is interested:

Kieran Trippiers brother, Kelvin Lomax, played for us in our Championship-winning season under Sheridan.

With a dive like that in the swimming pool you land on the back of your head if you dive from a decent height

The converse being it just shows how average the overpaid prima donnas of the premiership are.

A fair few if these are on wages which exceed the entire budgets of lower league clubs.

This was from an article I read the other day

The sale of Lambert (in 2006) and Hogan (in 2014) made Rochdale about £3million, including sell-on clauses.

It is things like this, and cup runs, that can keep a club of their size financially secure for a couple of seasons.

'It would not take long for a club like this to get seriously out of shape if we didn't do it right,' added Dunphy.

Yeah tell us about it mate!

The money will make them a lot stronger outfit next year, if they stay up or we go down it won’t matter to us though

Blx Never a penalty. a total dive which should have resulted in a red card. If proof were needed on how top teams are favoured against lower opposition then Madleys decision was there for all to see.

Yes you would like to think that when he was shown leaping about after the last minute equaliser it was because he was thinking about the extra money the replay would make for THE CLUB

 Someday defenders will learn that, unless they take the ball cleanly in a tackle, these days it will result in a freekick. Also tackling with the "wrong leg" more often than not has the same result. And doesn't everybody know by now that touch the opposition in the box and he'll go down. It's the way it is today. Not saying it's right but---------.
Many a good tune
