The converse being it just shows how average the overpaid prima donnas of the premiership are.
A fair few if these are on wages which exceed the entire budgets of lower league clubs.

The sale of Lambert (in 2006) and Hogan (in 2014) made Rochdale about £3million, including sell-on clauses.
It is things like this, and cup runs, that can keep a club of their size financially secure for a couple of seasons.
'It would not take long for a club like this to get seriously out of shape if we didn't do it right,' added Dunphy.
Yeah tell us about it mate!

The money will make them a lot stronger outfit next year, if they stay up or we go down it won’t matter to us though

With a dive like that in the swimming pool you land on the back of your head if you dive from a decent height
Any truth in rumour that spurs players are joining submarine command with Kane as commander in chief lol

Someday defenders will learn that, unless they take the ball cleanly in a tackle, these days it will result in a freekick. Also tackling with the "wrong leg" more often than not has the same result. And doesn't everybody know by now that touch the opposition in the box and he'll go down. It's the way it is today. Not saying it's right but---------.
