A huge game, Sheridans first in the League, relegation six pointer, they want to try and get the fans back onside and all talk is of positivity ....

So why oh why did the Club not put their hands in their pockets and lay on free coaches to Aldershot

Would have seen a big following and been a great tonic for Shez on his first game back

In the grand scheme it's not going to begin to right the wrongs but in the short term could have inspired us to a vital away win and a positive start for the New Manager

But hey we just don't think like that at CFC do we !!!!

Because they appear more interested in introducing, what to me at least comes across as an ID scheme, who thought this up?

That strategy meeting on how to grovel to the FA without drawing attention to any of the alleged previous scandals is still going on. The current board, five trained monkeys and some nodding dogs are hard at it as we speak. The football is irrelevant. I understand a delivery of fag packets, postage stamps and beer mats were delivered this morning for the opening brainstorming session.

In your opinion, free travel would have ensured a big following to Aldershot, do me a favour! The club has just posted losses of £1M, so balls to free travel.

If you want to travel to away games, pay like the rest of us.

Have Town ever laid on free coaches to a game? Can't remember them doing so.
Most clubs do so every now and again

Even Leyton Orient gave Town fans free pies recently!

Think the money would be better spent opening some more serving positions in the South Stand food outlet so people can actually get served during H/T.

Paper towels in the bogs would just be a bonus

For what its worth if the club are going to do something surely it would be better at an home game to be honest a free bus trip to Aldershot wouldn't have been of any interest whatsoever

Yeah, sponsoring travel to Aldershot would be a pretty pointless gesture.

As for the wider point, though, they reap what they sow...

My days of providing feedback on any ideas or criticism or opinion to CFC about financial prudence are past.
The people in our range, all the way up to Director level, have no influence of what Allen does. They might save a couple of bob on occasions, or change a procedure, but that's it.

Our Chairman stated at the AGM that he is fully behind everything Allen does. That's 'cos he's happy for Allen to tell him not to do owt. If I'd have had any enthusiasm left in me, I would have asked him if he supported Allen in allowing Turner to issue an unauthorised incorrect statement about the independence of the Development School just before a financial year end. As there was nowt about it in the subsequent year end report, there's the obvious conclusion that Turner knew that the Auditors knew nowt about it.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

I'm wrong most of the time (but Orient regularly do this so are we sure Town sorted it or have we presumed we did)?
