And that’s a fair reason. I don’t think the average bloke on twitter is citing diabetes as the difference between the two of them though.

No probably not I also don’t think it’s because they are all horrendous bigots. It’s all about political bias, it’s very conveniently blinding

Just wow. Abbott is not well known for making mathematical errors. All this stems from one particular error. You should ask yourself why you choose to repeat the meme that has grown from that error & not any other of the hundreds of politicians who make errors. You can bleat all you like about my post being unfair but the fact is, you went there & poor likkle diddums doesn't like it when his likkle prejudices get challenged.
As for the rest of the nonsense you just trotted out, well don't let a little digging stop you from repeating the same old tory media lies.
If 2% of the sh*t that Corbyn has been accused of were true, he would long ago have been serving time.

Why? Because when I was in the army she called on the IRA to defeat the British state and kill the imperialist occupiers.

She has insulted me saying people who voted for Brexit did not know what they voted for and everyone that voted for Brexit were racist.

Tory media lies lol. I met her at the Labour Party conference in Brighton in 2017. She came across as arogant, unintelligent and not a nice person.
I also spoke to Priti Patel who came across as completely the opposite, a very nice, likeable person.

It is getting to the stage were we cannot say things like COG was lazy or Clare Balding is a bad reporter because people like you jump on their pedestal and start shouting racist or sexist.

I never once equated Diane Abbott to being black or female, to me she is a person, I do not care if she is black, white or pink. If she is man woman or ladyboy.

I chose her because she is a carcrash of a politician and a very unlikeable person.

I think you visit the other threads and call out those who called Nathan Ashmore a cheat or Rebbecca Weich a bad referee. They were obviously, in your eyes being racist and sexist as there a hundreds of cheats or bad refs who are both white and male.

Stop looking for things that aren"t there. Because you will not find them in me

Abbott’s was far more widely reported and that’s a big factor. Why big media didn’t think Hammond’s gaffe was as worthy as more is anybody’s guess but it probably comes down to a couple of things including political bias yes.

Wow... Just wow.....
I make a joke about a politician, who is well known for not being too good with her sums.
And you brandish the race card.
Wow... Just wow

And fwiw. I knew HS2 was going to be over budget but I didn't know any quoted figures or who had quoted them.

And finally Jeremy Corbyn is an IRA supporting anti-semite. So now I hate men and white people too.

HS2 won’t be HS2 as we currently think of it.

There have been design changes already meaning it will have to travel at least 30mph slower than originally planned.
A new hope.

I don't have to look for casual racism, bud, its right in front of me, every day.
As for your anecdotes about the personalities of Abbott & Patel, well all that tells us is, never judge a book by its cover.

The points being made here aren't necessarily mutually excusive.

Even as a lifelong socialist I find Abbott cringeworthy, clumsily blundering her way through interviews instead of taking a few seconds to re-consider.

On the other hand Labour politicians are always under far more scrutiny from the majority of the media 'cos it's owned by billionaires.

Put it like this: a Boris Johnson at least as bad as Abbott has been sacked for lying on more than one occasion and is responsible for truly damaging blunders - look no further than the Zhagari-Ratcliffe's for that. However not only are his 'indiscretions' brushed under a Himalayan mountain but he's paid a quarter million to write for the Telegraph whilst being touted as a possible Prime Minister.

We need 50 points therefore have to win half of our remaining games at least

50 points should see you safe but I think a slightly lower total will be ok this season.
Alfreton went down on goal difference with 45 points in 2015

So your saying we need 21pts from the remaining 17 Games. So 7 wins will do it ?? Can we be sure on that statistic?

A few pointers
With a game in hand on teams above us destiny is still in our own hands
Our last game of the season is away at Maidenhead the team directly above us
We have already played the top 3 teams twice

Gone into 13/2 from 12/1 for a top half finish after yesterday's win. We're 11pts from 12th at the moment.

Well your logic is ok for a bit, but the hint was in the previous post.

If there are 24 sides in the league, the starting point is to assume that there is no need for the sides finishing in positions 22, 23 and 24 to take a point off any of the other 21. Hence, all 21 start with those six wins and 18 points. The other 21 then play the remaining 20 sides home and away. They all win 20 and lose 20 = another 60 points. All 21 sides then finish level on 18 + 60 = 78 points.

There's a bit of a drop off for Premier League sides. There you could go down with 12 + 51 = 63 points, and in Div 2 it's 6 + 66 = 72 points.

Anyhow, this is all a bit of fantasy. If we had Klopp managing, Pep as assistant, they'd have struggled to get us to 78 points without a change in the rules to say that:-
(Fouls on Denton) + (in the box) = penalty.
I'll be happy winning our game in hand as a starter.
God I hate this league.
