It ain't that easy, player has to agree to come - his agent will know we are desperate and DA has publicly stated he'll back Sheridan. Players might have dual treble offers and invariably if they are coming from the EFL they'll wait till the last minutes of the transfer deadline knowing our desperation.

That is one of the bizarre FIFA rules but not sure if it extends to national league when you consider the transfer window doesnt extend to us.

You'd imagine teams would be unwilling to let players leave until they have suitable replacements in place.

I'd be surprised if we get anyone in before the last week of the window, certainly on loan.

If were lining up any permanent signings, they may be sooner, but still unlikely for this week.

No I don’t mean anything disparaging about the type of signing. Just seen all this before. The promise, the wait, the realisation of how hard to attract players and the falling through of signings. If they come they come. Hopefully JS can attract the right type of player.
