JS sounded extremely confident of getting in a couple of players before this weekends game....so where are they??!!??

Not even a rumour of any incoming.

I really, really hope this isn't along the lines of him being promised the earth and then they start moving the goal posts as such.
Or a bullshine statement in the post saying he's happy with what he's got ect ect and there isn't anyone out there available/nothing that will improve us/I need to move some out before bringing them in blah blah blah.

I'd want new players in yesterday so they can train properly with the squad before Saturday

There’s 8 new faces on another threa, no clues as to who any of them are though, nobody has seen them before.

It was said at the AGM that some players will need to move out but they would back Sheridan. See what tomorrow brings maybe

He's trained them,identified problems and had a match.
Some were expecting signings the day Shezz was being revealed - the Gerrard rumour.

We are in the doo doo and need the new players in immediately to integrate / get to know each other / train with the others ready for a crunch game at Aldershot.

If players are going to be brought in on loan they could, in fact, already be training with us.

If that's the case, why not announce the new signings and keep the fans in the loop?
I've a horrible feeling (and I hope I'm wrong) that no one will be in by Saturday.

Probably. But for that reason Rotherham have promised him some game time in the Championship. (He came on as sub on Saturday).. Whatever, I doubt they have recalled him from a League Two side to go out to a struggling NL club.

If you're signing new players why announce it early, leave it the last minute, gives the opposition less preparation time, unless they employ an Argentinian coach!!!

It's a good point but just the lack of any rumour is nagging me.
Surely a tiny leak of info wether from the player himself, some one from the club, someone from the parent club, one of their mates, a guy they drink with in their local....nothing, absolutely nothing. This is my worry, not even the slightest tiny micro rumour.

Joking apart, I expected changes straight away - like if he had someone in mind and lined up.
The only change he's made is bringing Jahal back because he had to.
