managed to get a lot more out of reid today, he was showing for the ball and trying to make things happen.

He did that all right, but things happening were conspicuous by their absence. Still, an improvement on past performances and Shez might get something out of him, but against opposition like that he should have had a field day.

A centre half pairing of Hollis and Evans is relegation fodder. I can deal with Evans as he can actually pass a ball but Hollis is so poor. Never seen a player some uncomfortable with the ball at his feet. They can’t play together effectively in this division. One ball over the top and that’s a chance on goal.

Hopefully Maguire is soon back or I feel that sheridan will be forced to dip into the loan market.

Isn't Hollis leaving soon anyway, his loan over?
These go to eleven.

Hollis will be cover then? We need a decent cb anyway as Maguire isn't as good as some think he is

We've got Evans for another season after this. I think he'll become the cornerstone of Sheridan's team, and he's not slow.
PS never mind about goals. That's 2 clean sheets.

Also judging by the goalie's performance again, I'm beginning to wonder whether Allen did not run the united, committed ship that he liked to portray in public. Issues were covered up. The goalie, MAF, Hines?

Ive seen Evans done for pace quite a few times and make some awful errors but he should be a solid cb at this level with a decent partner alongside him - and he chips in with goals which is a plus. He is on the up without a doubt.

Definitely. For all of Allen’s banging on about how he was once treated as a player and that he’d never isolate anyone, yet MAF is told to stay away from the club. Must have been a fall out with Hines as well as you say, Obvious to anyone he was our best attacking player at the time. The only one that could create something and get past players so we let him leave. Would have liked to have seen Hines under Sheridan.

And you can probably add Joe Rowley to the list. Thing is, the dressing room containg a squad that can't win a game for love nor money must be a very tense place, and sparks are going to fly. Any manager, staring down the barrel, would have to be a superman to calm things down.
The best that can be hoped for is to keep dressing romm fall-outs in the dressing room, and MA at least managed that. Behind the scenes things were obviously in a 'state of heightened tension', or warfare as some might call it.
Fairly normal state of affairs I should think. Happens in all organisations, let alone one that employs adrenaline-crazed youngsters.

I've seen Ian Evatt done for pace quite a few times and make some awful errors, as well, but in recent years he didn't score the number of goals Evans has either.

A fully fit Evans is a decent CB for this league and the least of our problems.

Hines wanted away as soon as the opportunity came, for family reasons. Not Allen’s fault.

He's a very good, experienced striker that if we play to his strengths he will create and score goals at this level.
You don't get to play champions league and for the club's he has if you haven't got quality.
I would like to see someone played with him down the middle or at least play Kiwomya and Shaw closer to him.

Unless Hines is injured he's not even getting in Bromleys squad
