notice the player listing has finally been updated on the official website and noted dylan wharton is listed, thought he'd been released... no write up on him but definitely listed.

Nice to see Hollis and Clarke in there. Didn't spot Carline.

Carline is there. 7 seconds in. Sat on the floor wearing No.2.

42 to 44 seconds in, lad wandering at the back outside of the tent looks like one of the trialist at Matlock. The other lad who played at Matlock with the longer hair impressed me more than him.

Looks like no-one else coming in just yet, surprised as JR wanted the squad together for pre-season, unless there are a couple he can't get across the line?

A few comments on a non-league forum about Jim Kellermann (the Trialist who came on for Maguire last night):

Aldershot fan:
‘Jim Kellerman a very good box-to-box player, EFL standard I would say, and played 60-odd games for us, scored a few too. But plagued by injuries, and often played when obviously not fully fit. So a bit dodgy, I would say, unless he’s conquered his problems.’

Kidderminster fan:
‘Kellerman is an interesting one. He's clearly very talented and was training with us for all of the 19-20 season while he was recovering from an awful knee injury. He then signed about a week before the season ended and was injured again going into the new season. Came back from injury and got sent off after coming off the bench then the season got ended again. Never really saw him but he's clearly a good player who has an awful injury record.’

Judging by those comments, clearly a talented midfielder, and as we saw last night and at Matlock, versatile and capable enough to play at CB if needed. The only worry would be that he’s an injury prone player. Worth a 6 month deal maybe with a view to extend???

Maybe rowe is just helping a mate out to get him fit and ready to play elsewhere next season
Here we go again!

I read the opposite into it to be honest. The fact he's named him suggests I think we will sign him up

I've not been to excited about any of the trialists on show so far, Kellerman 's distribution looks decent but he wouldn't be in my starting line-up. The midfield looks like it could be our strongest since the days Paul Cooke.

how often do pre-season trialists get signed? robbie weir is one that springs to mind, not sure i can accurately recall too many more, how likely are we to see any of this seasons PST's be converted to signings?

I remember seeing Lee Rogers as a trialist when we played Matlock, went on to make over 300 appearances for the club!

I can't see us signing any of the ones we have currently, unless there's any that we have that haven't been seen yet.
