Or series'.

For me.. Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead and I've just started watching Archer which is quite amusing. What say Bob's Board?

Not seen Breaking Bad, although like S&D, I hear I may be missing out. Currently watching Walking Dead and Blue Bloods.

Yet to watch, but on the planner – The Following and Revolution.
If only....

Fictional it has to he Walking Dead, Reality it has to be Ice Road Truckers.

Masterchef, the standard in the first few rounds is"interesting" to say the least. Some are quite obviously very very good cooks and you can tell right away they've got a chance of going a long way. Others?, well I wouldn't let them cook me beans on toast.

Liked "Breaking Bad" - perhaps it helps if you look at it for comedy, more than the gritty cop/druggie drama of "The Wire," say. Liked a lot of "Dexter" on Netflix, but didn't get on with "Sons of Anarchy," for some reason. Perhaps the Hell's Angels aren't soap material. You still have to go a long way to beat "The Wire," and I still return to "Lost" from time to time, hoping that I'll understand more of it! Most HBO stuff - "Band of Brothers," "Treme" - is very watchable. I'd have liked to have seen "Deadwood," "Boardwalk Empire" and Thrones" but their being on Sky doesn't help.

Boardwalk Empire is quality Stu. Hoping they're gonna renew for a 4th series.

Also watching 666 Park Avenue atm, with John Locke out of Lost. Quite good if a little unbelievable.

Reality wise, it's anything off History or Discovery for me. Recent stuff includes Yukon Men,Mountain Men,Marooned and Naked. I'm a bit of a geek when it comes to that sort of stuff, our planner is full of it.
My favourites though are Gold Rush Alaska, Gold Divers and the ever entertaining Ax Men (Of which I own the box sets of the first 4 series :))

Blue Bloods is also good. A decent, feel good Cop Show.
Tried watching The Following, but couldn't get into it, but Revolution is in the planner from last night, and from the trailers it looks pretty promising.

Has anyone seen much of "Southland?" I see a bit of the odd episode late on ITV 9+3, or something, but haven't got round to recording it. Have heard folk rave about it.

"Reality" stuff like "Deadliest Catch," "Pawn Stars" and "IRT" is interesting until the show becomes more about the people in it, than the jobs they do. When they all start the staged arguments, I switch off. That show that follows the motor cycle customisers from Florida built a whole series around the premise that father and son had fallen out. I'd sooner watch the test card.

I have to confess an addiction to "How it's Made," and I loved "Industrial Revelations."

weve got the Following sky plussed but only seen the first 4 episodes up to yet..dont spoil it folks..but after a very good first couple of episodes seems to lose its way a little..the constant references to E A Poe become a little repetative, even though that is the crux of the plot.

Have you seen the film 'The Raven'?

I couldn't stop making comparisons with that, and it just seemed rather lazy by the writers/producers to basically use the same sort of plot line as that. I watched the first 3 before deleting the series link...so no spoilers from me.

That's the only problem with the 'mockumentary' stuff. It does become all too cliched and staged. Still entertaining though.

Counting Cars is quite interesting if you're into that sort of stuff. A geezer in Vegas who re imagines classic American cars that come into his shop.

I know he wrote The Raven but haven't read it. Yes at this moment it seems unlikely we''ll catch up with it as well!

Just finished "House of Cards" on Netflix. It's very slick with a good pace, and Spacey absolutely bosses it. Not seen any of the original it's based on- worth checking out?

Walking dead is quality. I very nearly gave up on it midway through the 2nd season as it was just going nowhere. Thankfully they separated the wheat from the chaff though and it is back to what it should be. Looking forward to GOT. 3rd book was my favourite so will be good to see how they've done some of the batsh1t crazy stuff that happens.

Utopia on c4 was decent- nice to look at with a plot that kept interest up without relying on a twist every 2 minutes. Looks like it will have a 2nd series although they prob could've wrapped it up in one.

Just started working through Trailer Park Boys again also. Takes a while to get going but has some great characters. A lot of it is improv as well, which is always a treat when it works. Think all the eps are on youtube.

Coronation Street. Only other thing is Boardwalk Empire which is between 'seasons' as the Yanks say.
