1) Coleman
2) Hill
but being realistic about this board (ie Allen)'s willingness to pay compensation,
3) Cotterill
...and being realistic about who it might be, none of the above.
These go to eleven.

Cotterill - Although he may not drop down this far

Heath - Fair record, has managerial experience and young and potential to be a manager at a decent level

Lester -
People say 'Nows not the right time' - not a logical statement imo.
Whenever we are looking for a new manager we would usually be in desperate need (like now) or doing well (when Cook left) and in either of those scenarios you could say 'Nows not the right time' if he takes the step in to management and is successful, then he's never going to come here - and if he failed elsewhere then would we ever consider him ? ....... Would those who say 'Nows not the right time' have taken Sean Dyche when he was running the U-18's at Watford ?

I don't think it's nothing to do with that. Those saying that, don't want to see Jack's future chances in management get ruined by our owners who clearly aren't bothered about the on field stuff anymore. IE, we hold Sir Jack in such high esteem that we don't want him taking the job and getting next to no backing and him ultimately failing and then he'll probably not get another chance to manage again. I'd ultimately rather see him have a successful managerial career well above us than watch him fail here and bu@@er up any chance of a career in management - hence that's what we mean by the timings not right.

EDIT: At least if he's going to come then let the bloke have a fair chance.

Coleman

Allen (if only to upset the apple cart a bit :) )

Cotterill

in that order. Hill is too unrealistic imo (probably if truth be known the others are to)
