Sounds melodramatic but this is the most important managerial appointment in years, if the board want to even try to begin to dispel the notion that they look on us as mugs they will go the extra yard to procure a manager who is experienced in this league and can handle pressure well. If they can go to Uncle Dave to get money to sign O'Grady and to do business on deadline day then they sure as hell can go back again for a decision of such magnitude.
I just pray they don't mug us off again by appointing internally or getting a complete novice in. There is simply too much at stake.
