We afforded Novak, Herd & SEB last season.

2 out of those 3 have gone. If we were paying anything like what some have said to the three Saunders musketeers that's a fair bit of money back in the budget.

Danny seems to be budgeting wisely and, as he has said, one or two might have to go out if he brings one or two more in.

Personally, I thought Duke might be registered as third choice keeper but if Tommy ain't going to be fit we need a decent keeper to start the season with. If Duke ain't going to be registered as a player we need somebody else in case whoever starts the season gets injured or suspended. Other than that the only other incoming players I think we will see are a left-sided CB and the Chesterfield born Italian on trial next week.

If Duke could perform at alfreton he can easily be no.2 whilst tommy recovers from his op and especially if we sign slocombe and he can get back to his form at scunny
