Didn't Scunny get rid? Something about him being a bit of a trouble causer?!

Been told he can leave Oxford so there could be some mileage in this.

Every time I've seen him play against us he's done well, though since Martin Gritton I've realised it's not worth paying too much attention to that.

What's the source of this rumour then?

Was he 1 of the 2 keepers that broke their arm in the same game a few years back? Looked good back then
Here we go again!

Surprised at this one...always seemed to play well for Scunny when I saw him...surprised he went to Oxford but money talks probably..got injured midway through last season and I suppose not been in the Managers plans since. Can't see him coming here to warm the bench though .....still only 28 so he will want first team football.

Didn't he have a season in the Championship with Scunny. Decent keeper.

Will be very impressed if we pull this off.

Slocombe has always looked the real deal against us, and should definitely give Tommy cause to up his game as SS will be a genuine challenger to be number 1.

Despite the off field shenanigans I think we need to applaud the work Danny and Morgs have done this close season.

I'm extremely excited and optimistic about the coming season.

He would be an unexpectedly good signing if so.

He's been very impressive against us.

However, I doubt CFC are that awash with funds that we can afford to sign Slocombe as an additional goalkeeper.

Are you trying to say the they are looking at cashing in for Tommy, afterall he's about the only one left that's worth a fee

That's why I'm doubtful about it. Even if we were is it a sensible use of funds? Wouldn't he get a gig as a number one nailed on somewhere reasonable?

Much as I love Tommy I doubt his transfer value is significant. £100k at best?

Can you recall which games he's played in against us - obviously Scunny/Oxford?
