He always struck me as a solid sort of bloke. Not disappointed with that at all if correct.

Confirmed......was a good solid keeper in his day...first coaching job for him I think.... at 39 if he's fit will he sign as cover also?

Just asked, just signed as coach at the moment. Doesn't mean he can't be registered though.
Hubby used to sign him on football manager 😁

Still young, keen and eager to make his name... bit different to Elvis I'm guessing.

For anyone interested in his peronality, Matt is a very humble and likeable fella.

I thought the Ex non league player Sutcliffe was a shoe-in for the role!

I ended up not being Norm's biggest fan, so I'm very pleased we've had a change.

The goalkeeping coach also has to be the defensive coach, as Norm said at one Q and A session, ..... and our defence was more organisationally shambolic at some points last season than I have ever seen.

Nice piece from when Matt scored for Burton:

Also, didn't realise he was the Bradford keeper sent off in the League Cup final a couple of years ago.

Which is surprising seeing as we had Norm (Keeper) and Morgan (Centre Back) as coaches for the back half of the season. Or is it those that can't do teach, those that can't teach lecture!

Nicky Law speaks very, very highly of Matt Duke.

Will post his thoughts in the next few days.
