If what look like decent signings coming in mean Ariyibi and O'Shea are going out then it changes the picture quite a lot. If the club are keeping that pair and strengthening the squad then it's good news. If not, it's more a case of here's the good news, now for the bad news.

Hird was best of a bad bunch last season, we still conceded goals .... For me he's a good player for cover.... He's a first class professional but for me we need anothe evatt type centre half , big strong and dominant!! Hird isn't that!! And with us being linked to knight Percival who is a monster left sided centre half!! Danny clearly thinks that aswell!! Hird for me just lacks that height and strength to make him a real great centre half! If we get knight Percival we have a very good looking defence indeed!!! Pace down the flanks in McGinn and Jones and two MEN at centre half!!!!!

There's no way he'll drop evatt! Spoke to dan Jones at last game of season and they all look up to evatt as a leader!! Including the manager!! That's why he was on the bench last home game of season! No intention of playing Danny just wanted him there!!!
