Kane has actually apologised for his shocking freekicks during the tournament. He said I don't know what changed as I was knocking them in for fun against Joe in training.

He should have gone the whole hog and apologised fro his overall performance, probably one of the worst in the team over the series of games. A very disappointing tournament for him (and us).

If "Joe" performs in training anything like he does in a proper match then even I would knock them in for fun.

However, Harry, to stand a chance of knocking anything in the ball has to be, at least, on target.

Too subtle for some I guess

Agree entirely. I watched the Euro 94 and World Cup 90 near misses. The players in those teams were more "together" physically and mentally. Tougher, streetwise, aware. It's as if this modern lot all had their I pods on while playing. The pampered generation. Truly disgraceful mess. As for the premier league - I'm not sure it's what it's made out to be!

Well the Premier League is carried mainly by foreign players, not English ones. Agree re. England players; five - star treatment is laid on for them at all times, and any problems are sorted out by someone else. Most of them have received this pampering from an early age, and they have zero resilience to adversity when left to deal with problems themselves. That explains why they completely went to pieces when Iceland had the effrontery to score against them. Though he isn't the world's most perceptive pundit, Wrighty was spot on when he repeatedly said, after the game ..'It must be sumfink mental, it's gotta be sumfink mental'. For once, I completely agree wiv im !

Utter tripe. Corbyn may be a Euro sceptic, as am I, but he campaigned to remain in order to reform because he didn't want a Tory brexit. You may have the perception he didn't do anything but that is simply down to the media's obsession with Dave v Boris. I saw no more of Alan Johnson than I did Corbyn because the media weren't interested until it was too late& they realised they had played into the hands of the brexiteers as had the appalling Establishment remain campaign which sought only to scare people into voting to stay whilst Corbyn tried to give out a positive message. And for those believing the Traitors of the Blairite PLP and the establishment media that Corbyn didn't get out the vote, labour voters voted 2 to 1 to remain. The Tories and the bigots of Farage's personality cult were the ones responsible for the leave vote not Corbyn.

Corbyn is and always has been a complete joke who can't face up to reality. I'm a Tory and proud of it. Part of me hopes he stays cause that means we stay in power as long as he is there. The other part says the Tories have faults and for a strong Britain out of Europe we need a strong effective opposition to hold the government to account and possibly give the electorate an alternative. Do you know what I've thought about it Ling Live Comrade Leader Corbyn!!!

As a lifelong Labour supporter and Dennis Skinner fan I think when the Tories and Tory voters, no disrespect Forever a Spireite it's free country and you vote for your choice, laughingly beg for Corbyn to stay on as leader, it says far more than any vote of no confidence ever could.
East stand second class citizen.

No different to what I thought would happen and what another guy wrote on here after our exit at the hands of Iceland.

Having worked with some of these people, I can honestly say they need the fans for their egos, not for any other reason; after all, who'd enjoy playing in an empty stadium...

However, as fans who support their clubs, they really couldn't care less about you and what feel, they just want their money.
