Representing your country at any level is something to be ridiculed?

Players who are now scattered around the EFL and succeeding got there after winning England C caps.

Paul Fairclough has deliberately selected a young team. He even dips down below our level sometimes. There's a lot for us and others to learn. Yes from him!

Grant Smith, Boreham Wood's goalkeeper, was probably the best recent England C keeper. He went to Lincoln in the close season. Now Boreham Wood have come up with another young keeper in the running for England C - meanwhile our keeper is 35, seems injury-prone and has called lots of dressing rooms home. Brilliant management Luke Garrard.

Of course England C is an honour and perhaps it should be a clue that Maguire should be our regular centre back.

Agreed. It should exclude all pro contract players, whatever the level IMO.
A new hope.

They have both had to fail to get in.Maguire must be in because of his brother as I have seen milk turn quicker

Kyle McFadzean - Burton, Alex Rodman - Bristol R, Connor Jennings -Tranmere, Andre Gray - Watford, Antoni Sarcevic - Plymouth, James Norwood - Tranmere, Frazer Franks - Newport, Matty Pearson - Luton, Omar Bogle - Cardiff/Birmingham loan, Andy Yiadom - Reading and Ghana, Kurtis Guthrie - Stevenage, Kayden Jackson - Ipswich, Matty Taylor - Bristol City, Elliott Whitehouse - Grimsby, Jamal Lowe - Portsmouth, Fejiri Okenbirhie - Shrewsbury, Steve Morison - Millwall

That's just a list of goalscorers for England C in recent years who are playing in the EFL, where we aren't. It doesn't include people like Sean Raggett, Morgan Ferrier and Grant Smith who all haven't scored (and there's loads more.)

It seems to me an England C cap can be a good career move. They only play about 3 games a season ..... Of course you can find a Scott Spencer, who was once down to be the next big thing, got England C caps and a goal, but had a career going downhill most of the way. But it is a positive recognition which can kick start or re-start a career. Don't laugh at it .....

And while you're practising not laughing, remember that the talent listed was all up for grabs by Chesterfield dirt cheap. Last season, whilst we were struggling to get a shot on goal, Morgan Ferrier was sold by a desperate Dagenham and Redbridge for just £30,000. £30,000 for a decent shot at saving our league place .....

Both playing well. Loz comfortable on the ball and JBW getting some good crosses in. Entertaining game, played on the floor.

Maguire winning a penalty. Converted by Alfie Pavey, of Havant. I can see Pavey giving us problema in a couple of weeks time.

Steve Morison who has gone on to play for Wales about 20 odd times

Just another in a long line of players that cant decide which country to play for

I blame Alfredo Di Stefano Ray Houghton and Declan Rice
THEY FLY SO HIGH , NEARLY REACH THE SKY , AND LIKE MY DREAMS THEY FADE AND DIE
