Genuine people who have served this club and its fans very well for many (30+?) years, through helping to run the old Supporters Club.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

You’re welcome, cheap assed program. It’s called pointless so there should be a pointless answer in every question.
And those two posh tools get on my wick as well.

I'd prefer it if there weren't so many luvvie questions on the celebrity version. And I get the feeling that most of the 100 people that they ask come from Surrey, Amersham or Midsomer as they seem to know f all about Wales or anything north of Milton Keynes.

I auditioned with a mate once. We scored eight points over the three trial questions but were passed up in favour of a bloke who answered ‘Australia’ when asked to name an English-speaking country.
These go to eleven.

Not sure quiz shows often go for folk that do really well at auditions. I worked with the lad from bolsover who is now one of the eggheads, he went to audition for the chase and basically would have won loads pretty much on his own and was told they didn’t need a new chaser and he was too good basically.

Someone from Bolsover knew how to do something other than bash another humanoid on the head with a club? You're kidding!

I didn't know there was an Egghead from Boza.

Anyway, yes, we learnt a similar lesson. Half a day off, spent with two students, one posh intern-type and the other not particularly interested, and it seemed they were looking for, well, I dunno, something other than people who were likely to do well on the show.
These go to eleven.

I'm watching the Chase right now. I'd do pretty well I think. Very few contestants get more than me and occasionally I'm quicker and more accurate than the Chaser.

I got through 4 rounds of auditions in Sheffield 18 months ago and am now on the 'shortlist' that they pick contestants from.

However, due to the required 'mix' of contestants they like on each show I was warned I may not get selected and they have plenty of 30-50 average Joe's to chose from.

I think next lot of filming is late october/november so I think I'd have heard by now if id been selected fo them.

Big fan of Steve on eggheads he's what you expect from someone who comes from Boza very down to earth and a great character that shines through on the show.

I used to work with Steve at CSC in Brampton. He’d been trying for years to get on Eggheads I seem to remember and had been on a lot of other quiz shows. Lovely bloke

Yep I’ve mentioned previously I worked with Steve at CSC, sat opposite him for quite a while. He’d tried to be a contestant on The Chase only to be basically told he was too clever and they might contact him if they needed a chaser.

To be fair that’s not a bad answer??
