Is it really that bad what he’s saying? He’s got a couple of jebends giving him grief and he’s sticking up for himself.

people are being nobheads and i don't think you can blame him for replying but telling people he's stuck himself into their mum's is a bit silly

By the look of those comments he uses his mouth for more than just eating kebabs and cakes. Pity he doesn’t show the same fight in his tight fitting blue shirt

Does Pete Leakey still work for the club because I reckon he would have a field day? We won 1-0 today with a squad without Gerrard in it, yet his performance in the West Stand and on Twitter tonight means we are talking about him and not about the side who achieved their first win of the season without him.

He obviously doesn't have the brains he was born with. He should be above conversing with the nematode worms who are trolling him.

Not wrong is he. Bunch of cowards who give it the big one hiding behind a screen or in the anonymity of the crowd.

Hopefully using his twitter fingers all night might make him shed a few calories.

He's getting abuse and he's big enough to give it back. All this crap about having a go at the fans of the club he plays at is just the fans way of demanding respect without showing it.
Mentioning Sir Jack is in poor taste though but I won't boo him on the pitch because of it.
Life goes on. Whatever happens.

Non league football players aren't role models and if people really want to give abuse after the team they claim to support have won I wonder about their mentality

Apparently he twanged his hammy last week. I pay no attention to the rumour that it was caused by reaching for a curl of donner meat that he'd dropped behind the sofa.

I don’t like the Twitter stuff. He’s daft. Loved the way he supported his team mates today though. Let’s stick with him a bit longer

If we can sack him for his conduct I think this'd be a great tactical move. He isn't in good nick and at this stage in his career he isn't going to have much motivation to sort this out. He's also likely one of our better paid players. We have Loz and Yarney as backup CBs, take the money from Gerrard's wages and sign the left-sided lad from Curacao or a centre mid who isn't useless.

edit; just been sent the screenshots, i'm getting ahead of myself, he's clearly a dribbler but they're not sackable comments really, looks like he's chatting boll0x after 7 pints.

Agree with most of that but you sat in front of me recently and made child like and offensive gestures to the away fans which you were warned to stop by a steward. You didn’t actually do anything that offended me. I just thought you acted like a 14 year old but I quite liked you cos I assumed you might grow up. For clarity on this board you threw V signs at the away fans when their attendance figures were announced. How can you criticise Gerrard? Please PM me if I’ve got this wrong

Some of what I've read is quite disturbing from all aspects. We have fans who just want to have a go on social media and a player willing to have a go. At one point Gerrard is saying come and have a go face to face and a fan says he will not good. Now I blame both but for me the fact that Gerrard as a go at Evo and Sir Jack clearly leaves him with no education about the club he is earning his wonga at. Sad state of affairs for the further decline of Chesterfield FC

On 7th January 2019, Graham Bean and the club issued a tariff in respect to supporter conduct. One category covers malicious communication and reads:

Banning Order: Five years.
Inciting hatred and/or making malicious communications to the detriment of the club.

I am sure Graham will agree that club discipline has to be consistent across all stakeholder groups and I will let him decide on how many points the following tweets qualify:

"Anthony Gerrard

Replying to
@Matty_Singo
Oh and to answer your original question, pulled my hammy last Saturday night while I was rifling your mother, hope that clears that up

Lies and more lies! Your hero absolutely soiled it when I stuck it on him for the 1st time, and the other week again in front of all his players. Don’t believe me? There was at least 9/10 people who witnessed this.
