Spyrou has not been training with CFC. That's a fact. Sheridan has said little issues keep cropping up with him and he hasn't returned. That is a fact.

Sheridan said: "Anthony has got tonsillitis at the moment.

"There is too many things happening here and there. We are asking the question. There always seems something popping up one after another.

"We want him back here because he is a good player. He should have been back here Tuesday and little things keep happening.

"It can't keep going on the way it is. We need to actually know what the state of play is. We need to know whether he is coming back and if he is coming back we want him on board as quick as possible. We are getting impatient."

I am fully aware of the history behind Spyrou, and the embarrassing and depressing state of our football club but all i was asking is if he had reported back for training.
Surely someone has been in contact with the club (press, reporters) to find this out given Sheridans comments last week.

Yes Dave I know and Luke's been back at Matlock..What I was saying is that they ought to be with us getting a chance instead of waiting on another youngster who either doesn't want to play for us or there's issues after issues with him. Give our lads a chance.

Sherridan has slowed down the progress of Levi and Rawson by waiting for the waster Spyou to make his mind up and persisted with the clueless McKay. Our two should have been given a chance even if it was on the bench, they are no worse than the tripe turning out at the moment. FB state that Wedgey has been told he can leave which is beyond me with the crap we have in midfield, at least give him a chance sherridan or are you wanting to make way for young Jay?

Spyrou posted a pic on Instagram 30 minutes ago, of him in action for us against the blunts pre-season saying he can’t wait to get back out there and that he’s back soon.

Looks like he will be coming back here after all
