His next move should be the exit door. It's such a no brainer that this time the stubborn old *** might actually find his way out.

Every penny he has lost is a result of his own ineptitude and intransigence.

He's picked the wrong Managers - given your glorious gift of hindsight. So easy to pick the right man every time as well, look at Everton, Arsenal, Manchester United - - - -
You can add your own list of the rest of the football league.

Take your point, but how does DA get the blame for picking a successful manager from a higher division and giving him the budget and incentives to succeed?
The thinking by some on this Board is conditioned solely by the need to lash out at somebody, anybody, for their disappointments. A futile occupation if ever there was one.
They bite on here though, even if the fish don't.

On the face of it a bold move (apart from the lack, yet again, it appears of any suitable severance clause in the event of failure).

This is without knowing Sheridan’s thinking of course. The assumption is that every manager will give the job their absolute best at all times however there’s mounting evidence that this isn’t the case here.

Hilarious, even by your own standards. And considering I remember your steadfast defence of Ebanks Blake, a bloke who has managed to rival our club in his dizzying fall from grace, that's saying something.

No hindsight required by the vast majority. Only a few dimwits were anything but horrified by the appointment of Saunders. Dismayed by the lack of funding for Lester and Wilson. Throw a little Caldwell and Branston Pickled into the mix... and now Sheridan. The last gasp call in your mate Dave's little black book. Assured he'd have anything he wanted to radically change our fortunes.

Anything he wanted precluding, a RB, new midfielders... wide players. Etc etc. We actually started this season weaker than we ended last. Almost comical.

ps. Remind me how many divisions Everton, Man Utd and Arsenal have dropped in the last few seasons. They're in a run of bad form. Our club is in freefall. As for the rest of the football league, your mate has overseen us drop out of it, but even so I doubt any club has seen a comparable downfall.

As in most things i suspect the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

Personally I don't for one minute think DA has set out with any intentions of ruining our club.

I don't think he had a desire to spend millions, with no return.

I don't think he deliberately set out to appoint terrible managers.

I am not sure how much of a free hand he has given others or AC has simply done his bidding.

I am not sure of many things about our club.

What is however clear as crystal. Our club is at its lowest point ever, we are dying and DA & AC are the architects of that regardless of motive , its murder or manslaughter but they are guilty.

That's a terrific line, my friend. Hammer meets nail precisely.
