The response is

"The club is not actively being promoted for sale. But if an interested party approaches us then we will consider all serious offers"

well let's hope his serious offer is to replace Carson by buying his shares.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

I've got an out of date Chomp bar in the cupboard which must have a comparable monetary value.

wash your mouth out!!

He's taken instant decisive action by sacking the fitness coach.

By my reckoning, he's now sorted the Academy, Accounting, Hospitality, IT, and General Management sections.

I expect a statement tomorrow on our current crisis, what are you going to do to stop the slow death of Chesterfield FC. Do not delegate to the puppets, we need to hear from you. Silence will not be acceptable.

"I am proposing to appoint a highly experienced manager currently enjoying a successful spell with a well-established League 2 club. To tempt him to drop to our level I shall offer him a large salary, long contract and whatever he tells me he needs to radically improve our position."

Among all the abuse does anybody think DA must be tearing his hair out for where to go next? A long list of reasonable managers who couldn't hack it has cost us some very depressing afternoons - but it's cost DA about 5 million big ones, even assuming he's written off the cost of the new stadium as a nice present.

His next move should be the exit door. It's such a no brainer that this time the stubborn old *** might actually find his way out.

Every penny he has lost is a result of his own ineptitude and intransigence.

You do seem to like to defend the indefensible Old Lad, or to cold for fishing?

The obvious question, considering the summer recruitment is - did DA go back on his word to provide “whatever he needs to radically improve our position”
A new hope.

We started the season with no RB. No wing player on either side. The same disastrous midfield as last season. McKay. Jay Sheridan.

In short. Yes.

Take your point, but how does DA get the blame for picking a successful manager from a higher division and giving him the budget and incentives to succeed?
The thinking by some on this Board is conditioned solely by the need to lash out at somebody, anybody, for their disappointments. A futile occupation if ever there was one.
They bite on here though, even if the fish don't.
