This bit caught my eye:
“For example, the development of new dugouts meant sacrificing a terraced space previously occupied by some of the club’s most loyal supporters.”

This is even more damning of our man

Per his LinkedIn profile, he went to Tupton Hall school 1980-87. Anyone on here recall him?

I was there then , he must have gone in sixth form , so we both left in 87 so I’m 2 years younger as I did not go in , name rings a bell

I've asked about this and am informed Mark Blower, said to be passionate about the club, would like to get involved.

In what capacity as yet unknown.

He is currently away on holiday but will be meeting with AC next week upon his return.

DA is aware

In the interests of balance can someone link to a positive story about this chap's football dealings?

Why, at this point in time, are Dave and Ashley entering into communication with interested parties? The club was taken off the market, is it now back up for sale?

Can Ashley explain why the club is back on the market when it was taken off sale until such a time that we are back in division 2?

To me, at best this chap looks more like an alternative option to Michael Warner or Graham Bean rather than the owner of a football club.

In relation to what mate?

Think it's been covered skimming over this thread but believe he might be getting involved. In what capacity I don't know.

Having read the articles you posted links too, I seriously cannot understand why they would want to speak to him.

Nothing surprises me though.

Does the fit and proper person test apply in our division? I hope DA isn't thinking of selling us down the river, similar to Philip Green and BHS.

The response is

"The club is not actively being promoted for sale. But if an interested party approaches us then we will consider all serious offers"

Interesting.one of my concerns is that dave allen has simply got to the point of being so fed up with sacking managers and wants out of cfc.i wouldn't blame him.
The trouble is i have a feeling this mark blower chap is just a mask for our dire situation.
Saturday will still be toxic and the club is worried of any altercations.

Is DA just inviting people to donate/sponsor so he doesn't have to dip his hand in his own pocket?
