Anybody watch England's defeat at Derby?

Infact were any 'BB' members there?

Look, as a cricket fan who wants to see the game expand I spent the first, what, hour or so? tuning in.

But it was just so, well, dull.

The England women were far, far too negative, putting little or no pressure on a side they'd previously thrashed when it really mattered.

No players 'round the bat? No slip or short leg when a 'leggy' came on to a left hander? Missed catches?

Maybe I'm unfairly judging the women's game in comparison to the men's, but I won't be in any hurry to watch again.

I didn't see much but I'd like to be able to hit a ball as far as that Shrubsole girl did for that straight six. Not that I've tried for a while.
