apologies if covered, I've not been followed BB for a while, trying to get last season out of my system. I seem to recall reading something, I reckon it was Branston, saying something about us linking with Swansea? has this happened? anyone heard anything or did I dream it?

I don't think any Premiership loanees will surface until August because of how the system works. Caldwell is now a victim of Ashley's murky world. I think I'll start calling him 'Murkly'.

Caldwell has got to wait to see if anybody leaves or if we get any money in from Clucas and/or Tendayi before he can plan his next step. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the word to O'Grady is 'don't do owt premature. We will almost certainly be able to accommodate your demands by August.'

I think it's more superficial than that, Dave.

As I remember GB quoted Swansea as an outfit with whom he'd supposed links to somehow 'sell' himself at the last fans' forum. He then took to social media saying he'd spent time down there perhaps pursuing a similar validation. Problem was, according to rumour at least, that when he requested a group of potential recruits turn up at Town for trial Swansea's response was summat like 'Errr, okay; we'll see who wants to come when they've finished cleaning the first team's boots and stuff'.

In a Welsh accent, of course.
