I'm going to defend Dave. He's been a friend for years. Yes, he can say some crude things but as a friend I can tell him sometimes he goes too far, that it's not the 1970's any more and I'll continue to do so.

I'll tell you this. I don't believe he has one iota of hatred towards anyone on this board compared with some of the visceral bile spewed out by some on here. We can all get heated, swear and construct character assassinations but Dave is not like that.

He knows my daughter and I would have no problems whatsoever sitting down with him for a meal with my family.

Anyone can have a rant and say things that they really do not mean at times and I think your post actually makes you look quite bad, rather than Dave, as was maybe intended. Dave has a few faults I am sure, but so do you, me and everyone else. I have known Dave for nearly 50 years and he has always been friendly, polite and amiable whenever we have met. Do the right thing by sending Dave an apology, as he did not deserve that sort of critisism. I think it would restore your credibility on here if you did.
