Yeh something like that but still the Saturday with Forest v Cardiff either the same time or 3pm the same day then County on the Friday or Sunday.

That will happen I'm sure. Somewhere between 12 & 1 ko at Field Mill.

I don't claim to be the oracle of Nottingham football but cannot recall an occasion where Forest & County played at the same time.

Lets stick it on a Friday night, put the cat amongst the pigeons well and truly

Camrbidge and Barnet likely to be fairly big followings I imagine, 2 new grounds for many.

Ay least 3 times we've been there in past

Not the Barnet new ground though and its 15 years since we played at Cambridge so a lot of younger fans will never have been.

Looking at the home fixtures, and given the massive drop in ST sales (assuming attendances will follow suit, and lower away followings too), can anyone see a month where DA won't have to put money in to keep us afloat?

I really hope they've set this season's budget based on less than 5k home averages!!

How dare you bring everyone back to reality with such a hard jolt, Sammy!

But of course you're absolutely right.

The first half of the season will see Accrington, Yeovil, Cheltenham, Morecambe, Exeter, Forest Green, Barnet, Crewe and Colchester at the Proact, most of whom we might as well shut the North Stand for and stick in the end of the East.

Hardly the kinda followings to subsidise what could easily be Saltergate-esque home crowds.

EDIT: appears we can add Newport to that list, too.

And when it does, the only people who will be blameless are the fans.

The idiots in charge have taken the club down this cul de sac, knowone else, an they for once can shoulder the blame.

I don't, an doubt others do to, have no sympathy for them at all, clueless totally clueless.

Wasnt the 2 niler the one where we had a new GK sign for us and he was ex Cambridge? John Vaughn maybe?

Garbage game but good day out from what little I remember.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

In case anyone doesnt have it from previous years....the following link should allow you to add the fixtures to calendars on your phone, Outlook, Google Calendar etc and should just update if and when fixtures are moved for any reason. Should also include cup games and just update each season automatically.

webcal://www1.skysports.com/calendars/football/fixtures/teams/chesterfield

Mine hasnt updated as yet but should do over the next few days i would think.

That's brilliant mate thanks! Saved me a lot time to do it manually!!

It was the Chesterfield Golf Club EGM on Monday night at the Proact. I had to endure DeeDahs, Man Utd, Derby, Everton, and even Mansfield fans heaping lavish, deserved praises on our radiant stadium whilst also affirming that only total tosspots could make such a gigantic mess of running it. They should be ashamed

I remember it being extremely cold. Me being very poorly (Ended up off school for the next two weeks). An awful away end behind the goal. A Cambridge fan was stood next to us on the away end for some reason (I'm sure he did their fanzine or something) and he was telling us about Vaughan always being longest in the shower. Took forever apparently. Strange day.
