Still no sign of Brooks signing - should we be worried?

Nope...i suspect the only folk making a big deal about it are folk going on about it on here!

Nice as it is that folks are really trusting, I seriously can't get my head around why anybody would still trust this lot! They are killing our club, only in it for themselves and don't give a monkey's about the fans (I should have put that in the FACT thread!) The sooner they are gone the better (for better or for worse)

Can't say I am too bothered about Brookes not coming, I am more concerned that we are a couple of experienced midfielders short along with a proven striker to help the youngsters. I am pleased on paper at least, with our signings so far, but I am peed off once again with Carson balling it up once again, how does he expect the fans to show him any respect or confidence in him. What a shambles once again.

I feel that Brooks might well have been preferred to Rowley for a starting role which I think would have been a shame. I struggle to think that both Rowley and Brooks would be started together, more one or the other. Rowley has done well in his few appearances and I am very hopeful he will develop further. He will only do that by continuing to get first team experience.

Before we sell him in January, just as it looks loke we'll make a push for third from bottom.

Don't think Lee will be starting at the beginning of the season, more likely Anyon.

Also, think Maguire will re-sign and claim the LCB birth. So, possibly -

........................Anyon
................Hird, Evatt, Maguire
Wiseman, Rowley, Sinnot, Donahue, Binnon-Williams
.....................Ugwu.....Dennis

Bench: Lee, Barry, Mitchell, German, Dimiao, Wakefield, Brewster

Easy to see, we need an experienced midfielder and an experienced centre-forward to improve that team but, if you were a staggie, you would be pointing out that the first 17 names have league one experience.

I wonder how much of the budget the manager has left? It's not exactly strength in depth is it.
A new hope.
