Given the furore last seasons trip caused, you can well imagine this years trip to involve us flying in to one country, before crossing the border in to another, just to try to stop any fans following!!

The club have booked a week long pre-season training camp in Spain, close to the Portuguese border (nearest Airport Faro) from 9th to 16th July hoping to finish with a friendly against Middlesbrough on the 15th although this has yet to be finalised,

I'm told Dave Allen is personally paying for trip, which isn't a loan

To make the most of this the club should consider some sort of raffle with the winner getting to travel with the team. It can't go wrong.

I suppose it's less bizarre than claiming Steven Gerrard is paying.

Allen will be welcomed back by me the day he explains where 70% of £4m went. Nobody is claiming anything illegal as it's his money, but something that Ashley doesn't want us to know about happened to it otherwise he would bite his lip and explain it, or even allow us to look at the books. It is simply an Allen broken promise at the moment.
